Enabling the use of your Nikon F-mount lenses on a Micro Four Thirds camera body, this Excell+1 Lens Adapter from Fotodiox additionally helps to increase the effective maximum aperture of your lens, gain a wider field of view, and maintain infinity focus. By incorporating a light focusing optic into this adapter's design, a magnification factor of 0.72x is applied to render a 50mm focal length lens as a 36mm lens, which then provides a 72mm equivalent focal length in conjunction with the Micro Four Thirds crop factor. This optic also condenses light in order to gain an additional stop of light, which effectively renders your f/2.8 lens as an f/2 lens.
This adapter also features a built-in iris control ring, which allows you to adjust the size of the adapter's iris opening to affect exposure or adjust depth of field.
