Used for infrared photography, this Haida M10-II Drop-In IR720 Filter enables the portion of the light spectrum that's invisible to the naked eye, known as near-infrared light, to be captured. The 2x filter factor reduces exposure by one stop and this filter blocks visible light up to 720nm to capture images of how a subject reflects or transmits infrared light. The M10-II filter version comes with an upgraded aluminum alloy frame that fits the Haida M10-II Filter Holder System and allows it to be closer to the holder resulting in better protection. Additionally, a built-in light gasket seals this drop-in filter into the M10-II Filter Holder to prevent light leaks. This infrared filter also features water- and oil-resistant coatings.
