This filter also provides ND2-level light reduction, helping to control exposure while maintaining natural contrast and brightness levels. Featuring Japan’s NITTO TrueColor polarizing film, it achieves up to 99% polarization efficiency—removing unwanted reflections from water, glass, and other non-metallic surfaces while significantly enhancing color accuracy for pure and true-to-life image reproduction. The lens surface is coated with an advanced 14-layer coating process (7 layers on each side: 6 anti-reflective + 1 waterproof), providing water-, oil-, scratch-, and static-resistant performance while effectively suppressing glare and ghosting. In addition, the filter uses a unique triple-cemented optical structure that prevents direct contact between the black mist material and the polarizing film. This ensures a more even and controllable soft-focus effect, eliminates internal optical interference, and greatly enhances the filter’s stability and durability.
