JJC S+ Series Ultra Slim Multi-Coated Circular Polarizing Filters are designed to reduce reflections and glare by filtering out light that has become polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface such as water and glass. This results in a noticeable increase in the saturation of skies and foliage, as well as clearer imagery when photographing in hazy condition. The effect can be seen through the viewfinder and changed by rotating the filter. This series filters is constructed from German optical glass for maintained image quality and is set in a precision milled aluminum filter frame. It features an incredibly slim design that the glass measures just 0.08" (2mm) thick, helping to minimize the likelihood of vignetting. Hardness of the filter’s glass is up to 9HD, which provides additional protection in case of drops or situations where scratching could occur. There are 9 layer coatings on each surface of the glass. The water-resistant, oil-resistant, anti-fingerprints, anti-static and anti-scratch coatings help to keep the filter itself clean and prevents scratches on the filter surface. Most importantly, JJC S+ Series CPL filters adopts Japanese High-Rate Transparency (HRT) polarizing film and provides a polarization ratio up to 99.8% or above.
